Amazing place. Right near everything that is going on but without the noise. Breakfast ok. They have a pool and a fire pit too. Room’s spacious and nicely decorated and very comfortable.

This hotel was a 💯 I literally stayed in the room while my kids enjoyed mardi gras. So peaceful and quite. Love it and will be booking for next year.

This was a hidden gem. Ken at check in made sure you knew everything needed for your stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. This was one of the nicest extended stays I have been in. It also had a great hot breakfast that was served to you. There was a basketball court or used for tennis and a pool and great outdoor seating with a faux fire pit. Best part it was so quiet after 10pm. And valet parking was super helpful and friendly. I truly enjoyed my stay!

The bed was absolutely wonderful!! It was near everything in New Orleans. It had a full size refrigerator and dishwasher!! Dishes and silverware! The couch was a sleeper with different eating areas in the room. It had a large wet area that we put our dog to sleep. The free breakfast was awesome. Hot foods and fresh fruit. I had a choice of this or the Hyatt Regency. I prefer Sonesta!! Hyatt didn’t have a microwave and the refrigerator was tiny.

I enjoyed my stay at Sonesta. On my first night, the shower head in my room was broken, which made it difficult to shower. The next day, I asked the front desk if I could switch rooms, and Charen (apologies if I’m spelling the name incorrectly) quickly arranged a new one for me. I had two wonderful nights in that room. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety of options. The staff members were consistently courteous and kind. If there is one aspect that truly makes this place stand out, it is the people who keep it running. I also appreciated the citrus water and popcorn in the lobby at night—it created a welcoming, home-like feeling. My colleagues who stayed at Marriott and Hyatt felt their experiences were mediocre, so I’m glad I chose Sonesta. Thank you!

Taylor I. and his team are amazing! Enjoyed my stay and will stay here in the future. Valet guys, front desk, cooks all made the stay more feel at-home. Great location, clean, breakfast, rooms and pool area. Close to everything you need for a amazing trip.

I recently stayed at the Sonesta New Orleans Convention Center for 10 days, and I cannot say enough about the amazing service I received—especially from Sierra at the front desk. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly welcoming, warm, and professional. Her friendly demeanor and genuine hospitality made my stay so much more enjoyable. Whether I had a question, needed assistance, or just passed by the lobby, Sierra was always attentive and eager to help with a smile. She truly went above and beyond, and it’s clear she takes great pride in making guests feel comfortable and cared for. This hotel was amazing. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the location is perfect—everything is so close and easy to get to. The valet was a little pricey, but absolutely worth it because the staff was very helpful and welcoming. While the cleanliness could use some improvement, the mini kitchen and pool were amazing and really made the stay enjoyable. I had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

Nice and clean. Suite has a full fright, dishwasher, microwave, cookbook and coffee maker. High top table for 2. Couch and desk. Lots of plugs for charging. Separate bedroom with Tv. Large closet. No daily maid service but can request extra towels. Front desk is friendly and courteous. Very decent breakfast included. Outdoor pool, seating areas, fire pit. Close to all the action!
